I know I haven't posted in awhile because I have been soooo darn busy with school and school work. Today we went whitewater rafting with a few of the dorms and I was excited that tyler was going, but he didn't ride in my raft because I wanted to ride in the girls raft. It was so much fun!!!! I have been before, but this time was so much better because the rapids were better. We had a weird guide. It was basically story time with Keith. He told us all these stories and some of the stuff I didn't want to hear because he was kinda vulgar. He should have kept it g-rated. It was fun!!! In all seriousness, I have just felt some much closer to God this last past month at college. For all who know, I have a roommate who has been struggling with a lot of stuff and it is just sad to see her falling farther and farther away from God. It's hard to talk to her because I haven't gone through a lot of the stuff she has. I feel that God has been telling me not to push her away, but to help her. There's something called living above approach. You can help the person and talk with them, but you don't have to necessarily hang out with them and be there close friend, you can just be there for them. I have been very proud of her because she is respecting herself more and saying no to a lot of the wrongful things that got her in trouble. Before I came to college, I was very oblivious to the whole "christian college" thing. I thought there would be no problems and everyone was a "good" person. I came to find that that wasn't true. There's a lot of sin and sad things that go on here. It makes me wonder why do they even come here? I try to reassure myself everyday with prayer and just keep on praying for this school. I have also been thinking a lot lately about the whole hurricaine situation. Kids at my school have the chance to go and help in Mississippi. I have been praying that hopefully that is what God wants me to do and so far, it is. Just keep all the kids in prayer making those decisions. I miss everyone from home and can't wait to see some of you on fall break! YAY

Hey Everyone! I just got created my blog! YAY! Tyler and I are sitting in Jazzman's and we just had coffee! I didn't really know what to say, but I just thought I might say something small! My day today was sorta boring. I did computer homework for 2 hours for just one class! That's what college is all about. I miss everyone back home very much!! I wish I could have been there for the Garage opening and I hope all goes well with it this year! I will be home for fall break, though, so I will get to see it then. I am soooo flippin excited to come home and just have some relaxtion time with people I love!!! :) Just keep on praying for us here!
